What “source quality” means
A TikTok LIVE recorder receives the video stream made available by the broadcast and saves the highest usable version. TokCapture does not enlarge a smaller video or recompress it into a pretend 1080p file. That preserves the detail already present in the stream and avoids adding browser controls, comments, notifications, or screen-recording artifacts.
720 × 1280 versus 1080 × 1920
Both are vertical 9:16 video sizes. A creator broadcasting a full-HD source may expose a 1080 × 1920 stream, while another LIVE may only provide 720 × 1280 because of the creator’s camera settings, connection, device, or TikTok’s current delivery choice. A recorder can preserve the best stream it receives, but it cannot restore detail that was never broadcast.
