STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

How to record TikTok LIVE online

You do not need to screen-record your phone. With an active LIVE share link, a cloud recorder can save the broadcast source while you keep using your device.

Before you start

The creator must be live when you begin. TokCapture records from the moment you press Start recording; it cannot recover the part of a broadcast that happened earlier. Copy the full share link from TikTok before the LIVE ends.

Quick checkA working link usually contains tiktok.com/@creator/live or is a TikTok short share link.

Record a TikTok LIVE in five steps

  1. 1

    Copy the LIVE link

Open the active LIVE, choose Share, and copy the link. The creator profile link alone is not enough unless it points to /live.

  2. 2

    Paste it into TokCapture

Open the recorder, paste the link into the TikTok LIVE link field, and check that no spaces or extra text were added.

  3. 3

    Start the cloud recording

Select Start recording. Once the status changes to Recording live, the capture runs on the server and you can close the tab.

  4. 4

    Stop when you are ready

Return to TokCapture and choose Stop & save. The recorder closes the stream safely and prepares a seekable MP4.

  5. 5

    Preview and download

Use the video preview to confirm the result, then select Download MP4. A copy also remains in My recordings for seven days.

Recording more than one LIVE

Choose Batch recording in the recorder panel. Add one LIVE link at a time, then keep adding more whenever you need. Each active creator appears in the workspace with an independent timer and Stop button, so one recording can finish without interrupting the others.

If the recorder cannot find the LIVE

First confirm the creator is still broadcasting and the link opens normally in TikTok. Then copy a fresh share link and try again. Private, age-restricted, region-limited, subscriber-only, or already-ended broadcasts may not expose a recordable stream.

READY WHEN THE LIVE STARTS

Paste the link. Capture the source stream.

Start recording from any modern browser. Your capture continues in the cloud.
